The law and order situation as well as topics like the security grid and zero terror strategy will be discussed at a high-level security review meeting on Jammu and Kashmir that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to convene on Tuesday in the nation's capital, according to sources. He will examine how the security grid operates, as well as other security-related issues and development projects in the Union Territory, during the afternoon meeting.
The Home Minister will reportedly examine the zero terror plan, the area dominance plan, the state of law and order, the UAPA cases, and other security-related matters. According to sources, the meeting would include Director General of Police RR Swain, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, and Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha.
In addition to concerned officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Jammu and Kashmir, the meeting will be attended by National Security Advissor Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Director Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka, Director Generals of Police of the Central Reserve Police Force, and the Border Security Force.
