On Wednesday, December 13, while Zero Hour was in session, two individuals sprang into the Lok Sabha chamber from the fourth public gallery, posing a serious threat to the Lower House of Parliament's security. 'Tanashahi nahi chalegi' (dictatorship will not be tolerated) was another phrase they yelled.
The two demonstrators chanted "Tanashahi Nahi Chalegi" (dictatorship will not be tolerated), "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," and "Jai Bheem, Jai Bharat" after opening gas canisters inside the Parliament building, according to the officers. The incidents occurred on the day that the country commemorates the attack on the Parliament in 2001. Speaker Om Birla declared that it would not be appropriate to examine the matter in the House since the House convened at 2:00 pm in response to concerns expressed by a number of leaders, including those about the threat video that was just made public by designated terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu.
According to multiple media reports, the visiting ticket that was given to the Lok Sabha intruders belonged to Sagar Sharma and was issued in the name of Pratap Simha, a BJP member of parliament. The two men who broke into the Lok Sabha on Wednesday were identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, both engineers from Mysuru. The two demonstrators, Neelam (42) and Amol Shinde (25), were apprehended outside Parliament.
A video of many MPs beating and gripping one of the burglars has surfaced from within the Lok Sabha building. Ramprit Mandal, a member of the JD(U), claimed that the intruders sprayed yellow gas in the Lok Sabha chamber after concealing the gas canisters in their shoes. Standing close to the intruder, Mandal reported that Hanuman Beniwal, an RLP member, and other members subdued the intruder.
In the aftermath of the tragedy, the area's security has been strengthened.
