The announcement by KC Tyagi coincides with clear signs that Nitish Kumar intends to leave the Mahagathbandhan, which is in power in Bihar, and rejoin the BJP. State chief minister Nitish Kumar has been accused by the Congress of "insulting" him on multiple occasions, according to KC Tyagi, the political adviser and spokesperson for the Janata Dal (United) party, in a crucial statement made on Saturday among the political unrest in Bihar.
Tyagi asserted that the INDIA bloc is in danger of disintegrating and said that Kumar did not see how the parties in the INDIA bloc could defeat the "all-powerful" BJP. The objective and intents of JD(U) president Kumar, who was successful in uniting non-Congress parties with the Congress, according to Tyagi, have fallen through. He went on to say that Kumar had been "misunderstood". Tyagi continued to attack the INDIA alliance, saying that although Kumar was able to unite a number of parties in Patna, the process was so shambolic that the INDIA bloc has not met jointly to discuss leadership and agenda as the Lok Sabha elections draw closer, as PTI reports.
Senior JD(U) leaders made their statement in the midst of clear signs that Kumar intends to leave the Mahagathbandhan, the party in power in Bihar, and rejoin the National Democratic Alliance, which is led by the BJP. Should Kumar decide to make the change, as reported, it will be his second switch this term and his fourth in the last ten years. The deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav's decision to forego the Republic Day celebrations at Raj Bhavan, where Kumar was present, earlier revealed the signals of strained relations within the ruling coalition.
In the procession that followed in Patna, the two did not speak to one another. "Find out from those who missed the event why they didn't attend," Kumar subsequently told reporters. JD(U) minister Ashok Choudhary was seated on the deputy chief minister's chair at Raj Bhavan, while the chief minister was observed conversing with opposition leader Vijay Kumar Sinha. In the 243-member Bihar assembly, the NDA has 82 members while the JD(U) has 45. In order to create a government, a party or coalition needs 122 legislators. There are 114 legislators from the RJD, Congress, and Left parties. With 79 lawmakers, the RJD is the only party in the majority.
