A day following the pran pratishtha of the Ram Lalla statue, a monkey entered the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, causing a magical moment for the pilgrims in attendance. The trust in charge of overseeing the large temple, Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, described the occurrence by stating that the monkey entered the building at approximately 5:50 p.m. The animal came up to the revered Utsav idol of Lord Ram through the southern entrance, seemingly unperturbed by the surrounds of the temple.
Concerned that the monkey would unintentionally damage the holy idol, onlookers at the temple's perimeter immediately noticed the unexpected visitor and raced to the scene, according to the trust. To everyone's amazement, the monkey showed no signs of misbehavior as the officers closed in, remaining cool and collected. It continued, saying that the primate turned around politely and moved in the direction of the northern gate without making any noise.
Without bothering any of the worshipers or temple employees, the monkey left the premises through the eastern entrance. “Today at around 5:50 pm, a monkey entered the sanctum sanctorum through the southern gate and entered the Utsav idol. Reached near. The security personnel posted outside saw this and ran towards the monkey thinking that the monkey might drop the Utsav idol on the ground. But as soon as the policemen ran towards the monkey, the monkey ran calmly towards the northern gate,” Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra posted on X.
On Monday, Ayodhya hosted the consecration ceremony for the Ram Temple. After an hour-long set of procedures, the Ram Lalla idol was unveiled at the pran pratishtha ceremony. Along with other temple officials and priests, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the ritual. Following the magnificent 'pran pratishtha' ceremony for Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on Tuesday, around 500,000 devotees descended onto the temple. The freshly constructed temple opened to the public at 6 a.m. and allowed anyone to enter until 10 p.m.
