In a distressing incident in Bihar, a 20-year-old student, Rahul Kumar, was gruesomely stabbed to death on a road near KLS College. The chilling attack, captured in a video, revealed that the assailant initially incapacitated Rahul by throwing chilli powder into his eyes before repeatedly stabbing him.
Rahul, a student studying in Varanasi, had returned home to Bihar to celebrate the Chhath festival. On the day of the incident, he received a call, prompting him to head near KLS College. However, the motive behind this call and subsequent fatal assault remains under investigation.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ajay Prasad mentioned, "Rahul Kumar (20) was stabbed to death by an unknown person who could be between 35-40 years of age. The reason for the murder is not yet known." Efforts to determine the motive are ongoing as authorities try to identify and apprehend the assailant.
The tragic discovery of Rahul's body, bearing multiple knife wounds, was made by a passerby near the college premises, leading to the prompt involvement of law enforcement. Despite their swift response, Rahul had succumbed to his injuries by the time they reached the scene.
Identification of the victim was facilitated by the mobile phone found near his body. Meanwhile, investigations are underway, and the police are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the perpetrator responsible for this heinous crime.
Rahul Kumar leaves behind grieving parents, his father Vasudev Prasad, and his mother, a female constable at Munger jail. Additionally, distressing videos surfaced, showing authorities transporting Rahul's body in an e-rickshaw due to the absence of an ambulance or police vehicle at the scene.
