(A poem about Life)
-Rachit Bhavsar
Heavens! Thanks for a treasure so divine,
Words fail to describe your kindness O Lord!
A miracle of yours so sublime,
Birth as a human so splendid rare.
Pity on those who fail to celebrate
Every ups or downs of this evergreen tide,
A blossoming flower or a dry withered fallen leaf,
Each of them script of a drama called Life.
Days months and years flow at a rapid pace,
The wheel of time never stops,
Every moment elapses like a fiery flame,
The end of a tale seems very near.
O man therefore forgive and forget,
Hatred and arrogance of the foregone past,
Cherish and honour the heaven-sent present,
Almighty's creation you a beacon of light a beam of hope,
Live to the utmost core,
Spread love and be loved,
At departure no regret remains,
Of a life not lived worth.
