Lord! my heart wails for those innocent ones,
Who are left to nothing but die,
Cries of agony heard far and wide,
As two foes stand at war.
Sound of bullets heard far and wide,
With soldiers on the march,
Greed for power has no gain,
Thousands left lonely to depart.
As the saying goes,
There is light beyond the dark,
His call for peace a ray of hope,
For thousands in the gloom.
Dialogue and diplomacy his greatest strength,
Rescuing millions home safe and fine,
The doors to harmony are never close,
If leaders think and act.
In this hour of intense grief,
In this crisis of combat,
Every Indian his kith and kin,
He leads the way forward.
Talks between enemy nations fail,
Conflict intensifies on a greater scale,
He joins hands with every sovereign,
India can make the world unite.
Operation Ganga on a prompt mode,
Evacuating fellow citizens from battle zone,
An outstanding diplomat as his actions speak,
A nation elated of his stupendous feat.
Missions as Ganga remind mankind,
Every dispute has an amicable end,
A thought of concern for fellow human beings,
Leads humanity to long lasting tranquil.
O omnipresent! therefore to thee I pray,
Let his message of accord extend everywhere,
To make our world an undisturbed home,
Humankind grateful to him forever.
