(A poem dedicated to my farmhouse garden)
-Rachit Bhavsar
I strolled around my beautiful plants,
Breeze blowing to and fro ,
Essence of the flowers spreading far and wide,
O Lord! Unspeakable to describe your elegant form.
Leaves lush green and fresh,
Spreading their wings like golden birds,
Meadow of my garden alive sublime,
Every flora enriched with your grace evergreen.
I can hear the blissful chirp,
Of sparrows so serene and divine,
It mesmerizes my ears so deep and whole,
With your music so sweet ever pure.
Tall trees stand erect facing the skies,
Depicting your creation so timeless profound,
Tiny saplings glowing like stars,
Alluring sunrays descending down from the skies.
Evening sunset a panoramic sight,
As the sky turns yellowish red,
Flight of the birds soaring back home,
A charming sight my eyes thirst for.
As I bid adieu to my lifelong friends,
The flower gave its priceless smile,
Come next morning we shall rejoice,
This eternal bond so sublime and pious.
Prayers and thanks O Supreme,
For enriching my optics with a landscape elegant,
My eyes crave to discover and explore,
A wonder you reveal everyday forever.
