(A tribute to one of the greatest leg spinner of all time Shane Keith Warne)
-Rachit Bhavsar
Cricket stands quiet and shocked,
Mourning the end of a spinning tale,
A wizard who silenced mighty willows,
Withered away into an eternal sleep.
Be it a googly or a flipper,
His deliveries a spider's web,
Angled inside whizzing past the batsman's pads,
The bails castled within no time,
Who can forget ninetynine's epic clash?
Dangerous Inzamam's bat roaring all the way,
His magical twist at last did the trick,
Australia adding a feather in the cap.
Remember Sharjah's iconic clash?
Warnie's ball smashed into the stands ,
Tendulkar 's willow firing all over the ground,
A night always to be remembered for.
Two thousand five Ashes rivals clash,
Mighty English stumbled to zero five,
Classy Ian Bell or the fiery Flintoff,
Warnie's classic spells a hard nut to crack.
Forty dismissals to his name,
A feat unbroken still,
Off the field the bullhorn did the talk,
A commentrator admired by all,
As cricket bids adieu in tears,
To a legend who made millions cheer,
Now everytime when the ball shall turn,
Shane you shall be always yearned.
