(A poem dedicated to my loving Mother)
Values and virtues blend into one,
The ever forgiving,
Truth, Sacrifice Love shine in one,
The ever pure.
Strength, Humility Character adorn one,
The ever merciful.
Words fail to express your gratitude O Lord!,
For an association so sublime,
The only affinity where time stops,
To experience your blessedness serene and supreme,
Be it a loving kiss or a tight slap,
Pat on the shoulder or a fiery scold,
All for a purpose but one,
Making me a man.
Days, years and months shall pass,
For the wheel of time never stops,
But your presence shall always remind ,
I am a child despite a growing man.
