This is nice, but I don't have time now. Maybe later.
I am not ready now. Maybe later.
This is not the right time. I have so many responsibilities now. I will, once I have fulfilled them. So later.
So much is life is unachieved because of this word - later.
Because later actually means - never.
Procrastination has killed more dreams than anything else.
The tortoise won the race, because he did not put off the race. He did not think that he wasn't ready, or he would run the race, once he had more confident, or he had practised better.
He refused to say - later.
We know that we are procrastinating. So deep within, we feel guilty. We try to make goals with more determination and tell ourselves that this time I will achieve it, no matter what.
But the emotional baggage that we carry is about guilt and failure. We dwell in the same mindset as quitting or pushing it off to some other time.
We make more goals with determination, forgetting that procrastination has become our nature.
We will first need to overcome this habit, only then we can tackle our goals.
