The heavy downpour in the town,
Hastens to fill my heart with pain.
In search of my lost beloved,
I feel empty inside in vain!
As if the entire sky had been filled
With so much immense anguish
Since time immemorial,
That it couldn't stand with languish!
That it started weeping out of grief,
Throwing out all the reds and blues
On the sky like canvas-
In the form of hues!
Oh rain drops why don't you wash
All my sorrows away with you?
It can't take the parting
Leaving me in solitary and in blue!
