And one sudden night,
The outburst of a epidemic
Led to the shutting down of the whole nation
Within few seconds of its proliferation!
Deprived of the necessites
We moved ahead towards our hometown
Without any means to drop us to our destinations,
We moved ahead cluelessly!
In one hand, we had our trolleys
So on the other hand we had our infants,
Oh the tyrant show some mercy on us,
How will we move in such a short time span?
Our co-mates died in hunger
Having nothing to feed themselves;
And some gave up their precious lives
Walking barefoot all the hot burning day!
Some lost their father and
Some lost their mother,
And some fell ill in this melancholy
Losing out their family forever!
Some of us managed to reach our homes,
Some of us are still longing for the way,
Oh what fault did we try to attempt that
We had to meet such a tormented life, anyway?
We can't even show agony
Nor can we reflect our pain,
Oh at last we are the deprived section of the society
With minimum liberty to express!
The plight of we workers was so heart wrenching,
That even fate and destiny felt guilt upon themselves
For not showing mercy upon them,
For not showing the path in need!
Is this the way oh Supreme Soul
That our fates were actually destined?
Will someone be crying for us,
When we will be not there to serve the men in need?
