A technical committee has been assembled to conduct a comprehensive survey of the affected area and assess the risk factors contributing to the landslides.

To address the immediate risk, the administration has initiated the construction of a protective wall using geo bags. This wall aims to stabilize the slope and mitigate the potential for further landslides. Additionally, the entire area is being covered with polythene to prevent rainwater from infiltrating the ground, which can weaken the soil and increase the risk of landslides.

A team of geologists conducted a site inspection of the affected area, shedding light on the underlying causes of the landslides. One of the primary factors identified during this assessment was poor drainage in the region.
