PROJECT :- Correct Pronunciation


SUBJECT:-  for improvements / changes in  English books or providing the solution key  to Hindi medium students so that they can speak or pronounce english  correctly.


Why :-  Right now I am teaching in a village school upto 12th standard. I teach them English-speaking and have seen or realised that most of the students neither know how to speak nor pronounce correctly if they try.  Then I think about this  how it can be improved. After that I analysed  and reached at this point of improvements.


I am also from Hindi medium school that's why I realise it.


Scope:-  

1. Every Hindi medium school.

2. Every country where English is second language and students are not from English Medium School.  Means this project is for those who are not from English medium school.  Right now you can apply this for all the non-English students in India and abroad.  After that only till 5th standard English book is needed.

Chapter – 2    THE MAGIC GARDEN


The magic garden was in a

द़्अ   मैजिक्    गाडन्   

school playground. It was very   स्कूल्      प्लेइग्राउण्ड्                 व़ेरी


pretty. Sunflowers and roses

प्रिटी       सन्फ़्लाउअ           रअउज़ेइ

stood high against the wall.

स्टुड्     हाइ    अˈगेन्स्ट्           वॉल्


There were also marigolds,

 द़ेअ           ऑल्सअउ

poppies and pansies.

The sunshine fell on the garden

        सन्शाइन्    फ़ेल् 

more than on any other

           द़ैन्         एनी  अद़्अ


and the flowers danced and

                           डान्स्, डैन्स्

sang happily. They said to

सैङ्                             सेड्


one another, “We have

        अˈनद़्अ            हैव़् 

hundreds of little gardeners.”

They were the children ( चिल्ड्रन् ) from the

school. (स्कूल् )


One sunny morning the flowers

वन्     सनी      मॉनिङ्          

were talking to the birds.

          टॉकिंग                  बअड्


“I love all the children, but I love

    लव़् ऑल्

the dear little ones.

      डिअ


most of all,” said a poppy. “I like

मअउस्ट्

them to bring their

               ब्रिङ्    द़ेअ


watering cans and water my

वॉटरिंग                                  माइ

thirsty roots.”

“Yes,” said the marigolds, “the boys are good to us too.

                 गुड्    टु  अस् टू


They dig the ground ( ग्राउण्ड् )   so well .”


“We love the little children,” said a tiny bird. “They are

kind and they bring bread for us.”



and similar to this if we change/correct the english book or  provide the solution of english chapters  to Hindi medium student till 12th class; or  for those who are in  Colleges ( after analysing whether they can read English book correctly or not).


Results:-  Everyone would start and pronounce  English correctly.

3. It is also for English medium students  upto 5th standard


Think around 2.4 crores student (out of 2.5 Crores births  every year) take an admission in school. Out of which around 42% students, according to UDISE+   report, take admission in Hindi medium school;  and according to me out of this around 10 to 20% of these 42% means 4 to 8  student out of hundred students read English correctly from Hindi medium,  and remaining 34-38  students out of total 100 don't read correct pronunciation. so,  around 84 lakh students from every class ( or from 3 to 12th class = 10 × 84 lacs= 8.4 Crores + ) are in need for such type of work..and, of course a great market for everyone who wants to work or spend his time in this.. Even , for college students ( B.A, B.Sc, B.Com student from HINDI medium , competitive students ); this type of course book or solution key can be help ful. We will  provide the Chapter' key only in this form. From here , they can learn it.

Means, more than 10 crores students in need for such type of improvements or solution key..

Even this process can be applied for those English speakers who want to learn Hindi in similar way..




Why this:  Because of having no proper guidance;  and also village- Schools especially in Hindi medium school or govt schools you will not find an intelligent faculty for teaching English nicely.  Therefore you will find 90% students  uneducated in English speaking and correct pronunciation.

I have suggested students  to use a dictionary ; even then might be one or two students from each class would have started.  Also, I have an number of dictionary,  but instead of this I have not 100% quality in pronunce every word correctly. Just because of feeling a burden to open the dictionary for every words... Anyway..


Now,

If we start like this and provide them English books with corrections in this books or  answer key in this manner then, of course, they would  start speaking English correctly after a few months.
