Prof Rajendra Prasad basically belongs to his native place "Agra " district of uttarpradesh, born on 11 th August 1970. After getting basic education he completed his Undergraduation (BAMS) from Rishikul Government Ayurvedic PG college, Haridwar (Uttarakhand) in the year 1992. Then after he did his Post-graduation (M. D.) Ayurveda in Kayachikitsa from Banaras Hindu University (1997) and PhD (Kayachikitsa) from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi in the year 2013. During his academic carrier he served in CCRAS as Research officer (Ayurveda) for 2 years and as Lecturer as well as Reader in Kayachikitsa at SRM State ayurvedic college, Bareilly (UP) for 11 years. Presently he is working as Professor in Kayachikitsa at Department of Kayachikitsa, Faculty of Ayurveda, Institute of medical sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi since December 2013. Here he is involved in UG, PG, Doctoral, Post Doctoral teaching, Research, Patient care, Administration etc. He is having more than 25 years of academic experience, during which he has attended approximate 100 national and international conferences, delivered arround 60 guest lectures, published more than 50 research papers, 25 chapters in book, edited 3 contributory books and published 1 individual books on the"Contribution of Sharangdhar in the field of Kayachikitsa".
