Lovebirds come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. They are also very intelligent and playful animals that can easily learn tricks like talking and whistling.
Love birds also form strong bonds with their owners, making them great companions for anyone looking for a pet bird.
They require special attention and care in order to remain happy and healthy, but when done correctly, they can bring much joy into people's lives, with the bright colors of the feathers and joyful chirps they make.
With this in mind, it’s easy to see why these little birds are so loved by so many people around the world.
MY BEAUTIFUL PETS
It's was a beautiful sunny morning of the winter season and I woke up hearing chirruping of birds. "Oh who got them,so beautiful they are", I was overjoyed to have them. They were beautiful five coloured perikets.
"It's a gift from Rajan uncle " my father told me.
"Wow! look at them papa , how small they are, so beautiful.. " Their allure was so mesmerizing,I got lovesick.
On their first day, they were happily hopping around inside their cage, but the next day something had changed - one of them had died.
The next day, I noticed that the birds were sitting still in one corner of the cage with their beaks closed, which made me curious about their behavior.
Thinking that they might be hungry I gave them more bird food ,but they did not even touch.
So, I gave them bits of biscuits thinking maybe they are bored of their food and need to change the taste but still, it didn't work out.
I was addled. Maybe they needed a big home ,I mull over.
That evening my father got them a beautiful spacious cage.
" Ok! Come on my little angels, let's move you all to your new home."
" Finally ! As now they have more space to hoop in,they must be happy " I consoled myself
But still the lovebirds were not happy in the cage, they were constantly screeching and fighting.
They were also constantly trying to escape. They were hungry and thirsty, but they could not get out of the cage.
One of the lovebirds eventually stopped screeching and just sat there quietly.
The other bird, still struggling, looked up at the sky and saw a fluttering piece of paper.
They tried to reach for it, but it was too high for them.
Then, the other bird saw that their friend had stopped struggling and was now just sitting there quietly. Now they all were quiet.
I needed to be sure that they were healthy and not in any pain.
I opened the cage door and put my hand in, but the lovebirds flew away.
I was upset for a few minutes, but then I realized the value of freedom, to be able to fly freely to reach out to our dreams , to be with our loved ones and to be with our friends.
I remembered that I could try to catch them again.
I tried again, and this time I was able to reach in and pick up all the lovebirds without any problems.
They came back to me, sitting over my shoulder and head . whistling in joy.
I gained their love and faith by letting them be free and in return got my best companions.
I was eternally happy and content. And I could sense that, they too had a feeling of complacency.
