Great book with great characters. The entire story was awesome. Three Men in a Boat, the most well-known book by English novelist Jerome K. Jerome, was first published in 1889. After taking a boat ride around the Thames River, Jerome began writing the book. Originally intended to act as a tour guide, the novel was quickly taken over by the hilarious components and changed into the witty travelogue that is a modern classic. J. (Jerome), Harris, and George are three friends who appear to be hypochondriacs in need of a vacation.
