A great book for cricket and sports lovers. Highly recommended. Sunny, a young man from Sri Lanka, enjoyed playing cricket. However, none of his new friends in Manila showed even the slightest curiosity. That is, until the stunning Tina showed up, who was poised and flawless. After thirty years, Sunny has made a home in London with his own teenage kid. He feels unanchored despite the calm comfort of his life. He visits the Oval to see the Sri Lankan cricket team play in an effort to rekindle his relationship with his past. He comes to the realisation that love, like cricket, is more than simply a game as the sun sets on the game. If only there was time, he saw one last opportunity to bring his life into perspective.
