The festival of Lohri is considered to be the main festival of Punjabis and Haryanvi people. This Lohri festival is celebrated like a festival with pomp and joy in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Jammu Kashmir and Himachal. This festival is celebrated every year on January 13, a day before Makar Sankranti.

Generally festivals are celebrated along with the changes in nature. Like when summers are about to come, then everyone plays Holi with water and when winters are about to come, they celebrate Diwali and provide warmth to the atmosphere.

It is also said in Lohri that this day is the longest last night of the year. From the next day, gradually the days start getting longer. Along with this, it is also considered a time of joy and happiness for the farmers doing farming.

Because at this time grains start fluttering in the fields and the weather also starts becoming very pleasant. That's why this festival is celebrated together with family and friends. In this way, increasing mutual unity is also a major objective of this festival.

Well, whatever the festival may be, but the only purpose of all is to bring the family together. All the relatives who are far away should be called and their happiness should be doubled. Let immense love be communicated to all of them and happiness be spread everywhere,,.
