New starting in India under water train

India is changing.  New dimensions of development are being established.  We are proud of our country.  Another achievement in this sequence, this metro train will pass 13 meters below the level of the Hungli river named after our country.  With its introduction, lakhs of passengers will get relief.
The underwater metro train, the first of its kind in India, has been compared to Eurostar, which connects London and Paris.  On the same lines, in our country too, an underwater metro rail service in the Hooghly river will connect the cities of Kolkata and Howrah.
India's first underwater metro tunnel will be constructed as part of Kolkata's East West Metro corridor.  After the construction of the tunnel, Kolkata Metro will cover a distance of 520 meters under water in just 45 seconds.  Now we can say that the Ganges of development is flowing in our country.
