Great book and highly recommended. Through case studies and examples drawn from the actual experiences of middle and senior managers, this book offers insightful analysis and useful advice. While a never-ending supply of information (books, training sessions, seminars, and research) is produced on leadership and followership, the art of cooperating successfully and amicably with superiors is underappreciated. Why can't my boss be like me/like my ex-boss—more appreciative; more enterprising; more caring; more communicative; less rigid? is a common cry heard (at the office water cooler or family dinner table).
