TITLE : GLOBAL WARMING 😔
Global warming is the gradual rise in the temperature of the earth surface, ocean & atmosphere. The most noticeable effect of global warming is the melting of the ice and glaciers in the world. There are several causes of global warming which have negative effects on humans, plants & animals. The causes may be natural or might be out come of human activities. Following are the major causes of the global warming underlisted below under heads.
(1) Deforestation
(2) Uses of vehicles
(3) Chloro fluoro carbon
(4) Industrial development
(5) Agriculture
(6) Over population
These are the very causes made by humans activities. These are too dangerous for the environment to maintain ecological balance on the earth. There are also some natural causes of global warming such as volcanoes eruption, water vapour and melting permafrost etc. There are some major effects of global warming that we can see in the following points.
(1) Rise in the temperature
(2) Threats to eco system
(3) Climate change
(4) Spread of diseases
(5) Loss of natural habitat
We as human can take small steps to contribute to limit the global warming. We can do following things to control this problem.
(1) Planting more trees
(2) Recycling household waste
(3) Use less amount of vehicles
(4) Less use of polythene bags
(5) Make social awareness through social campaign "SAY NO TO USE POLYTHENE BAGS"
Global warming is a scientific fact as much as the hole in the ozone layer or earth's orbit around the sun. It has melted the polar ice caps, raised the levels of the oceans and flooded the earth's great cities. To balance the absorbed incoming energy the earth must on average radiate the same amount of energy back to space. The earth radiates at much longer wave lengths than the sun. Much of this thermal radiation emitted by the land and ocean is absorbed by the atmosphere including clouds and re- radiated back to earth. This is called 'Green House Effect'. The average temperature at earth's surface would be below the freezing point of water.
However, human activities primarily the burning of fossil fuels and clearing of forests have greatly intensified the natural green house effect lead to causing global warming situation.
