For domestic violence we have domestic violence act
It is Gender neutral.it covers all aspects of violence including mental torture.India has enacted domestic violence act 2005,in which there is provision of immediate relief for the survivor and protection officer will be charged as a watchdog .domestic violence is a punishable offense in this law .
