Business in the 21st century faces a variety of complex and volatile challenges as a result of disruptive technologies that have been developed. In the last few decades, the depth and breadth of management knowledge have doubled as a result of the phenomenal growth of management as a science and an art, each year. As the global business environment has evolved from a human-centric approach to a technology-centric approach, a paradigm shift has taken place, affecting all aspects of management, including money, technology, methods, materials and computers, since human-centric approaches had historically been dominant.
