Meghaa Gupta’s exploits in history are the outcome of an irrepressible urge to contextualize the challenges of the present with the past and make greater sense of the times we live in. Having dabbled in journalism and publishing, She find that a combination of children's publishing and freelance writing works best for her, at least for now! Since 2014, She has been working with Tulika, perhaps the only mainstream, independent, multilingual children's publisher in the world that brings out picture books in 8 Indian languages simultaneously with the English edition. In 2017, She moved back to Delhi and is currently handling the rights and business development portfolio remotely, while continuing to pursue her keen interest in writing, specifically on education and environment. She contribute to The Hindu, TerraGreen and Careers360 and is also associated with WWF-India. Apart from this, She made her foray into children's writing in 2018 with the picture book, A Home of Our Own. Honors & Awards : Best of Indian Children's Writing award (contemporary) 2019 Won this award for my first picture book 'A Home of Our Own' that was published by Tulika Publishers in October 2018, 'A Home of Our Own' among the top 10 picture books shortlisted for the National Jarul Book Award (2022-23)
