Shashidhar Khan
Shashidhar Khan ( 1959- present) is a renowned name in Hindi newspapers and periodicals. Being a professional journalist , he is established, prolific, non-fiction writer, political and social commentator. He is the only name name in hindi journalism, who is writing weekly columns and editorial page features in all leading national and state level newspapers since past 40 years, even while working in India's national news agency, PTI-Bhasha for a major part of his career. He also takes guest lectures on journalism and has guided students from universities of journamlism like Indian Institute of Mass Communication and Makhanlal Chaturvedi Patrakarita University. He has also written a book on journalism ("Patrakarita ke Jwalant Mudde")Post-retirement he has established himself as a full-time writer on subjects he has worked over in the field and as a columnist for the past four decades, which include Naga imbroglio, Naxalism, North-East affairs and Jammu-Kashmir.
