About Raghu Palat

My name is Raghu Palat. I am a banker with a passion - writing. I have written a little over 45 books. These have been on investments, banking, taxation and on communication. I have recently been writing books on Management - the secrets of success of business leaders. This series explore the man behind the name and brings out the values they hold dear and how they succeeded. Another book I am extremely proud of is "Nair" about our community from South India. It is a unique community. We are matrilineal and women were, unlike the rest of patrilineal India, held in high regard and totally free. We did not have marriage - we had relationships. A man had relationships with many women and a woman was permitted relationships with many men. We were a martial race and the technique used known as Kallaripayattu is the forerunner of Jujitsu and Taekwondo. I believe this is a book all Nairs should read to know their heritage (at a time when most are loosing their roots) and others should read to know of a really unique community.ज़्यादा पढ़ेंकम पढ़ें
