Birsa Munda (1872-1900)

Good book and highly recommended. In the Ranchi district of Jharkhand's Bamba village, Birsa Munda was born on July 18, 1872. To create Munda Raj, he staged an armed rebellion against the British. Additionally, he began a vigorous battle against the clergy, alcoholism, and the widespread use of black magic and belief in spirits among diverse ethnic populations. His socio-religious movement, his concept of Munda identity associated with Munda kingdom and independence, and other aspects of his larger worldview are all evidence of this. He passed away in a prison on June 8, 1900. The tribal groups in Jharkhand revere him as a prophet. His significance and impact have been extensively covered in the book.
