Lakshmy Iyer joined the State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in 1985. She has worked in Lucknow, Bhopal and Mumbai circles of SBI. She had a long stint in the RTI desk in Mumbai Circle, which covered the states of Maharashtra and Goa. She has handled large numbers of applications, first and second appeals. She is passionate about RTI and loves teaching. It is no wonder, therefore, that the numerous training sessions conducted by her on the RTI Act, in SBI, government departments and various public sector institutions, have been very well received.
